Denbies Wine Estate is home to the largest vineyard in the UK and is one of the largest privately owned vineyards in Northern Europe . With 265 acres under vine, Denbies can produce up to 400,000 bottles from a good harvest. Denbies accounts for 10% (approximately) of all wine produced in the UK from 18 varieties of grape. The winery at Denbies uses a combination of traditional methods with modern equipment including stainless steel tanks, modern pneumatic presses and state of the art filters to create their fine wines.
Grape Varieties:
Predominant varieties are: Seyval Blanc, Reichensteiner, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Ortega, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Dornfelder.
Wines:
The current range of wines have been divided into three categories: The Estate Range, The Cellarmasters Choice and The Vineyard Select.

The wines in these ranges have won many awards both nationally and internationally, including four awards in the International Wine Challenge 2003/2004.
Visitors' Facilities:
Indoor "Wine Experience" tours operate all year including a film in the 360 degree cinema, a ride on the 'electric train' through the winery, followed by the tasting of 3 of Denbies wines.
An outdoor tour around the vineyard is available during spring/summer months. Atrium restaurant and wine bar and extensive shop, selling wines and a wide variety of wine-related gifts. Recently opened also is a nursery outlet on the winery site, selling a full range of high quality plants cultivated at the Denbies Kitchen Garden (located on the estate).
Facilties for corporate functions, weddings etc are also available, and a Four Diamond B&B has also recently opened on the estate.
